High Power/High Frequency Amplifier for MEMS Characterization
Recent advances in novel MEMS designs such as Dynamically Driven Micro Fluidic Sensors, Thermal Actuators, Micro-Fluidic Droppers, Resonators and Dielectrophoresis studies have revealed the limitations of existing characterization instruments. Commercially available amplifiers have not addressed the advances of ongoing MEMS research and development.
To accommodate the advances in MEMS technology, a bench top amplification system was designed at Sandia National Labs to meet research and development performance specifications. The final product is the CPiDR™ High Power/High Frequency Amplifier.
The CPiDR™ is a four-channel amplifier instrument with independent channel control. These channels contain amplifier components that deliver a slew rate at unity gain of specification of up to 1000V/usec and a bandwidth of up to 1 MHz. .
